Some background reading: Leviticus 19:9-10; Leviticus 19:33-37; Deuteronomy
23:25; Deut 24:19
Points to Ponder/appreciate: 1. Ruth, a new convert, sought Naomi’s advice/guidance.
2. In what ways are the relationship/care of Ruth by Boaz in this chapter similar to our, The Lord’s care toward us?
3. Note the obedience to the Law by both Ruth and Boaz; Ruth as a new convert and Boaz as a righteous man.
4. Note Naomi’s recognition of God’s Provision.
