EDENIC – The First Covenant – Between God and Adam/Eve in the Garden
( Gen 1:28-30;2:15-17 )
Conditional: – DO NOT eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Man was to:
- Replenish the earth
- Subdue the earth to his races needs
- Have dominion over the animals
- Fruit/vegetable diet
- Dress the garden ( till the ground )
- Keep the garden ( guard from enemies )
- Abstain from eating of the tree of the knowledge of good & evil
(A Covenant is – An agreement or contract between men, or between God and a man, a group of men or a nation)
