When we think of gentleness we can remember:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 Sam 18:5 David asking that Absalom be treated gently<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A father\u2019s desire for his child<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 Sam 22:36 David talks about the Lord and says thy gentleness hath made me great Ps 18:35<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A servant\u2019s thankfulness for God\u2019s gentleness<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Isaiah 40:11 but he shall gather the lambs with his arms and carry them in his bosom and shall gently lead those that are with young<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A shepherd\u2019s care of the flock<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 Corinthians 10:1 I, Paul, myself entreat you, by the meekness and gentleness of Christ who in presence base among you but being absent and bold towards you<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Timothy 2:24 the servant of the Lord must not strive but be gentle<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The teacher\u2019s treatment of their audience<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Titus 3:2 to speak evil of no man to be no brawlers but gentle showing all meekness unto men<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The evangelist\u2019s\/missionary\u2019s treatment of their audience<\/p>\n\n\n\n
James 3:17 but the wisdom that is from above is first pure then peaceable gentle and easily easy to be entreated full of mercy and good fruits without partiality and without hypocrisy<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wisdom from above is gentle<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 Peter 2:18 servants be subject to your masters with all fear not only to the good and gentle but to the forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Servants subject even if gentleness is missing in their masters<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They won’t care how much you know until they know how much you care<\/p>\n\n\n\n
