The last use of the word concerns spiritual persons:
\u201cIf any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual,
let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you
are the commandments of the Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Word \u201ccharisma<\/em>\u201d does have a secondary, underlying tendency toward \u201cgift\u201d
It is primarily emphasizing both the grace of God that gives
and the outcome, the desired result of what is given.
In the Word \u201ccharisma<\/em>\u201c, the root concept is \u201cgrace\u201d
in which the Spirit of God gave some enablement for the blessing of others.
Regardless, there is no thought of permanence embedded in either word.
Context alone must decide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grace is given to us with the result we experience various manifestations
of the Spirits enablement<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here the context dictates people are the gifts given to the church.
The people are given after God gives them the required enablement.
The context here also suggests permanence of the enablement<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Tim. 4:14 – Double negative in Greek is emphatic! Do not not care!
