Israel\u2019s present blindness is neither total nor permanent, for God has purposed a future restoration through the coming Redeemer. Though Israel is presently disobedient concerning the gospel, God\u2019s covenant promises remain certain, demonstrating that His gifts and calling are irrevocable. Paul reminds us that both Jews and Gentiles stand equally dependent upon God\u2019s mercy. As he considers the depth of God\u2019s wisdom, the unsearchable nature of His judgments, and the independence of His ways, Paul moves from explanation to worship.
