Lk 16:19-26; Act 16:25-34:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u02d2awon (\u05e2\u05b8\u05d5\u05b9\u05df, 5771), \u201ciniquity.\u201d This word is derived from the root \u02d3awah, which means bent, crooked, twisted, perverted<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">chatta\u02d2t (\u05d7\u05b7\u05d8\u05b8\u05bc\u05d0\u05b8\u05d4, 2403), \u201csin\u201d missing the road or mark (155 times). <br>Chatta\u02d2t can refer to an offense against a man:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking back in History to <strong><strong><em>86<\/em><\/strong><\/strong> years ago:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">World War II which began September 1, 1939 lasted for six years. <br>Germany surrendered in May 1945. The war officially ended September 2, 1945 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Until it was deemed safe and secure enough to be re-unified Germany was divided into four sections and put under the control of the allies.<br>The west section was jointly controlled by US, UK &amp; France.<br>The east was controlled by the Soviet Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The inner German border was the border running north to south, dividing Germany between West Germany and East Germany from 1945 to 1990.<br>The inner German border fortifications were built by the East German government in phases from 1952 to the late 1980s.<br>This became one of the world&#8217;s most heavily fortified borders.<br>This barrier was constructed to stop the emigration of East German citizens to the West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Berlin, Germany\u2019s capital city was in the section of Germany controlled by the Soviet Union. More than 170 kilometres (110 mi) to the east of the inner German border. Like all of Germany, Berlin<br>was also split into four sections. <br>The west section was jointly controlled by US, UK &amp; France.<br>The east was controlled by the Soviet Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By 1961 it was clear Millions of people had fled from East Germany to the west, some through Berlin. <br>They fled to escape the oppression, lack of freedom, and economic hardship for better opportunities in West. <br>East Germany wanted this stopped.<br>This was mostly young people, educated, skilled workers, and professionals. This threatening East Germany\u2019s economic viability.<br>This prompted the creation of the Berlin Wall, a border barrier surrounding West Berlin.<br>The fortifications of the inner German border and Berlin Wall were physical manifestations of what Winston Churchill called the Iron Curtain.<br>The time from from 1947 to 1991 was known as &#8220;The Cold War&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Easterners_Problem_Trapped_and_oppressed\"><\/span><br>  The Easterner&#8217;s Problem <br>(Trapped and oppressed)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Easterners_Provision_Self_andor_others\"><\/span>The Easterner&#8217;s Provision <br>(Self and\/or others)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Easterners_Part_Each_persons_part_through_taking_responsibility_for_their_own_andor_others_way_of_escape\"><\/span>The Easterner&#8217;s Part <br>(Each person\u2019s part through taking responsibility for their own and\/or others way of escape)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These border fortifications imposed by man were limited.<br><br>In length &#8211; before completely finished some went around it<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And in strength &#8211; before it was completed some went through it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A TRAIN<br>A STOLEN MILITARY VEHICLE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And in height &#8211; some went over it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BY ZIP LINE<br>A TIGHTROPE<br>A HOT AIR BALLOON<br>ULTRALIGHT PLANES<br>HAND OVER HAND ALONG AN UNUSED POWER WIRE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And in depth &#8211; some went under it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A NUMBER OF ESCAPES TUNNELS WERE DUG<br>IN A CONVERTIBLE UNDER A GATE CONTROL ARM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And in geography &#8211; Germany only was affected<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And in time &#8211; The walls were put up after 1952 came down in 1989<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Our_Problem_All_peoples_problemRuin_through_SIN\"><\/span>Our Problem <br>(All people\u2019s problem,Ruin through SIN)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Problem &#8211; Us (Trapped and oppressed)<br><br>The problems Reach &#8211; ALL<br>The problems Result &#8211; DEATH<br>The problems Remedy &#8211; Sacrifice<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our Problem &#8211; Great Gulf Fixed: Isa 59:2; Lk 16:19-26:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What limitations does the great gulf fixed that God made have? <\/em><\/strong><\/strong> God with us in the flesh!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isaiah 7:14 (ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sup>14<\/sup>Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name <strong><strong><em>Immanuel<\/em><\/strong><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Matthew 1:23 (ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sup>23<\/sup>\u201cBehold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name <strong><strong><em>Immanuel\u201d (which means, God with us).<\/em><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Colossians 2:9 (ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sup>9<\/sup>For in him <strong><strong><em>the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily,<\/em><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 Timothy 3:16 (ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sup>16<\/sup>Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: <strong><strong><em>God was manifested in the flesh<\/em><\/strong><\/strong>, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><br>Who DID NOT sin? \u2013 (X3) There is no sin in this person, who is, as stated above, also God <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2 Corinthians 5:21 (ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sup>21<\/sup>For our sake <strong><strong><em>he made the Lord Jesus Christ to be sin who knew no sin<\/em><\/strong><\/strong>, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 Peter 2:21\u201322 (ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sup>21<\/sup> ~ the Lord Jesus Christ also suffered for you, ~<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sup>22<\/sup><strong><strong><em>He committed no sin<\/em><\/strong><\/strong>, neither was deceit found in his mouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 John 3:5 (ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sup>5<\/sup>You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and <strong><strong><em>in him there is no sin<\/em><\/strong><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Here_then_is_the_acceptable_sacrifice\"><\/span><strong><strong><em>Here, then, is the acceptable sacrifice!<\/em><\/strong><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What then will give us deliverance from our sin?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hebrews 9:22 (ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><sup>22&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and <strong><strong><em>without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins<\/em><\/strong><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leviticus 17:11 (ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><sup>11&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>For <strong><strong><em>the life of the flesh is in the blood<\/em><\/strong><\/strong>, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for <strong><strong><em>it is the blood that makes atonement by the life.<\/em><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">John 12:24 (ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><sup>24<\/sup><\/strong>Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_must_happen_now\"><\/span>What must happen now?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">John 10:11 (ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sup>11<\/sup>I am the good shepherd.<strong><strong><em>The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep<\/em><\/strong><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hebrews 10:12 (ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sup>12<\/sup>But when <strong><strong><em>Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice For sins<\/em><\/strong><\/strong>, he sat down at the right hand of God,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 Peter 2:24 (ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sup>24<\/sup><strong><strong><em>He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree<\/em><\/strong><\/strong>, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Titus 2:14 (ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sup>14<\/sup> <strong><strong><em>who gave himself for us to redeem us<\/em><\/strong><\/strong> from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 Timothy 2:6 (ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sup>6<\/sup><strong><strong><em>who gave himself as a ransom for all<\/em><\/strong><\/strong>, which is the testimony given at the proper time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isaiah 53:5\u20136 (ESV)<br><strong><strong>But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned\u2014every one\u2014to his own way; and <em>the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.<\/em><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Our_Part_Each_persons_part_through_taking_responsibility_for_their_sin_and_accepting_Gods_way_of_escape\"><\/span>Our Part (Each person\u2019s part through taking responsibility for their sin, and accepting God\u2019s way of escape)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong><em>Repent<\/em><\/strong><\/strong> (repent means \u201cto change one\u2019s mind.\u201d, &#8220;a change of mind that results in a change of action.&#8221;  2 Cor 5:17<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:800\"><em>me<\/em> \u2013 The sinner in need of salvation<br><em>God<\/em> \u2013 The Provider meeting the need of salvation<br><em>Lord Jesus<\/em> \u2013 The Sacrifice having shed His Blood to purchased salvation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:800\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mk 6:7.&nbsp;And the Lord Jesus called the twelve and began to send them out two by two\u2026<br>Mk 6:12.
